Great Pectin!
Hollister Bulldawg•July 23, 2016
I was looking for a source for this pectin as it is scarce on the West Coast. This is the cheapest I have seen it offered in 10 years! I ordered 24 boxes as a test and it is the stuff I need. Expiration date in 3 years (March 23, 2019). I will be ordering much, much more.
I love MCP pectin

I love MCP pectin. I have used it for years, and it is hard to find in the stores. I like it because it is one of the only ones that has a no-cook method which i like. I noticed the picture is the same as Sure-Jell and that it now has that it is a product of the makers of sure jell.
Great quality never changes

We have been using Certo for years with excellent results. About all we make now in the jelly line is pepper jelly. We like our pepper jelly less solid than regular jelly, so as to use it on vegetables. With Certo we can judge how 'jelled' we want the jelly.
Great for jelly!

I make a LOT of jams and jellies, and I find Certo to be the best for liquids that already have sugar (ie wine) And the price on Amazon is much less than in the supermarket. Generally I prefer low sugar pectin, but in a pinch Sure-Jell is always in my cabinets.
Something happened along the way.

I was supposed to get 8 boxes but only got 4. Remember showing it to my wife and bragging about how much money I was saving. Although still cheaper as a 4 pack then the grocery store, no where's near the savings it said I was to get. Somehow during the order process it switched to the 4 pack for the same price. Shame on me for not paying attention. If you read other comments, it seems I'm not the only one that got the bait and switch. Kind of disappointing.
