I helped my 8-year-old grandson put together the terrarium. We followed the instructions exactly. It took 9 days for any seeds to sprout. The instructions said that we should see sprouts after 4 days. We were very disappointed when nothing happened so I started watering it a lot more and put it in a sunnier spot. Now my grandson is super excited to see the sprouts!

my daughter love the fact that she put something together that required her care and then saw it grow the way it did, she was very impressed that SHE made something like that happened by following the instructions and science. I like how it comes with enough to do a second terrarium in case the first one dies or if you have an extra container go for it!.

This is a good way to grow your child's curiosity for biology and nature. The terrarium is easy to assemble and fun. Kids love the stickers and see the plants grow.
