Super handy, but get the plastic seat too!

This is fabulous!! You can put a spade or two, a water bottle, string, scissors and all sorts of other "one more trip to the shed" stuff in here. There are little spaces for the bucket handle and you can also buy a seat to go with it. I bought this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002PTQMRY/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_15 This way you can put stuff in the bucket--weeds or sprinkler attachments and stuff, and sit on the thing too.
Works.

The pockets are a little big so any tools you put in them, tend to flop around some, but so far, they have not fallen out, so it is working. Took a little elbow grease to get it around the rim of the bucket, but it is doable. That is a nice tight fit.
It works beautifully now and has nice sturdy canvas pockets

I tried this caddy on several 5 gallon buckets and did not fit. I ended up going to the fabric store and bought extra strapping to extend the strap at the top. It works beautifully now and has nice sturdy canvas pockets. If you're handy with a sewing machine this product is great. Otherwise don't bother.
Junk

One huge problem with this bucket caddy I received was that it could not reach around a five gallon bucket. The instructions say "Fits 5gal buckets or any bucket with the top circumference from 33.5" to 41." A standard 5 gal bucket from Lowe's or Home Depot or 5 gal. paint bucket measures 36" around. No matter how hard I tried (and I'm a pretty strong guy), I could not get enough belt overlap to get it into the buckle. Who ever made this caddy does not know how to use a a tape measure or is just plain stupid. Just another piece of chinese junk, not worth the effort to send it back. .
It could be good, but mine came with a shorter strap than advertised

I read the reviews and was concerned when some reviewers could not make it fit a standard 5 gal pail, now I know why... the standard pail is 39 inches in diameter the strap on the caddy I received is only 38 inches long. The literature says it is 41 inches long but measuring from buckle to end of strap it measures exactly 38 inches. I was going to return as it is not as advertised (my guess is that they have a quality control issue with some of the units being shipped with short straps) but instead I will try to sew on an extension to the strap. If that works it will be a good product as it leaves the bucket open so you can put potting soil inside with out getting it on the caddy.
