Very good navigator, for me is perfect, beautiful interface as well as easy to use features, download maps need only half an hour, as well as import map just fifty minutes, think about 6GB map, which has been considered to be very faster, and I would recommend it to my friends.

So, if you do not make fun of my lack of directional skills around my wife, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you make fun of my occasionally getting lost...I will look for you, (with the help of this TomTom) I will find you, and I will kill you. ;)
This TomTom is simple to use and is kept stored in the center console of one of our older cars without navigation. It was purchased to replace a six year old Garmin and truth be told, I like the TomTom much better. The lifetime map updates are handy and the screen is a nice size. My only minor critique is that the touch screen is not as sensitive to inputting as the Garmin but overall, this unit was inexpensive, it gets us where we need to go and has proved to be durable during use. Durability wise, it has thus far remained functional despite temperature/season changes while stored in our car. Hope this helps.

Good unit. A bit different than my old XL one. you don't get some of the old features like customizing the power up / shutdown screens or the car icon. But once you've used it a few times you'll get to know easily how to add places.
The best part is you can finally record a route (I've been wanting that for years). If you have a specific route YOU know is the best, record it and get tomtom to re-use that route.
bluetoothing my cell phone to tomtom was a bit annoying (took an hour for me, but finally worked) and i think not needed, tomtom seems to know about traffic without the phone connection.
95% of the time it'll navigate me truth heavy Atlanta traffic, I can do the I-85 corridor from 30 miles out in about 1hr to 1hr 15 and still have my wheels turning the whole time. now and then i have to use my gut instinct and not bail off the interstate.
