Great quality and the magnets hold really well. It does stand up by itself but only if you make sure to put it somewhere it wont be bumped into. I originally got it for my mom to put on her desk at work, but there is just too high of a chance that someone will bump into the desk or she will close a drawer too hard or knock it over on accident. She put it on our big entertainment center in our living room and it has been perfectly fine. Her picture is also vertical so I think that makes it a little less sturdy than if she had it standing horizontally. If you want it for a desk or nightstand or something you constantly use I would buy one with a stand and get a lighter/thinner piece of glass or just use plastic.

I had read the reviews of those who purchased this before me so I felt confident in ordering it. I wanted a "frame" that fit a standard piece of paper and allowed both sides to be seen because I have a poem written to me in high school by a great guy I was dating at the time (circa 1968). I found it when going through old cards and letters.
Even knowing the product was likely to be very good, I was astounded at its quality. The packaging was perfect so when I unwrapped it I found two heavy acrylic pieces that fit solidly together over the paper I want to preserve. It was very easy to separate yet the four tiny magnets worked perfectly to hold it solidly together. It is perfect and will keep the fragile paper together for a long, long, long time to come. I couldn't be happier and will look at buying a few more for precious items that are two sided.
One more thing: Amazon is so fast at shipping that I found this had been sitting on my porch for nearly a week before I began to wonder where it was.

Nice product for displaying a 4x6 print. This is comprised of two pieces of acrylic that are held together by magnets. The picture is placed between the two pieces. With the item I received, the two pieces didn't always remain perfectly aligned, but that wasn't noticed by all who viewed it unless they physically picked up the picture.
I prefer a similar product made of a single piece of acrylic that is backed by a sheet of metal (and also held in place magnetically).

This is a good frame. It was packaged well but it did arrive with a pretty good sized scratch on one side. I tried to buff it out with a little glass cleaner and a paper towel which didn't help. I'm only using this one as one-sided so not a big deal to me. The magnets work well and it stands on its own.

I really wanted to have my cousin's beautiful wedding invitation encased in acrylic as a keepsake gift for her wedding. Unfortunately, that was quite cost prohibitive. So, I decided to order this and, if I didn't like it, opt for a bigger cash gift. I'm so glad I did NOT waste the money on encasing it in acrylic. This was a beautiful and much cheaper option. The magnets are strong and easily kept the invitation in place. I just received a thank you note from my cousin yesterday saying that she loves it an it is sitting on her dresser.
