Over a barrel for a must-have item when you need it...

Needed the small size from this item when I found that the cap on one of my outside faucets had split, meaning I couldn't turn on the outside faucet for some late season use.
I just bought this same item this evening from same manufacturer at a big box. Was interested to buy more online, as I didn't like the price or packaging at the big box. A carries the same item. However, A's price is way, way off. Like exactly 3X the big box' price!!!!
AND, while I can appreciate the insurance of having bought the right size, it's a rip-off to have to buy two sizes if you know the one you want. THAT isn't A's fault.
Quality of the product itself appears excellent, but pricing and forced-assortment isn't. Hence, 2 stars.

Two size drain caps, neither one fits

I thought one of the two sizes of drain caps in the 2-Pack would fit the valve that allows water to drain from the pipe that goes from inside the house to the outside spigot (aka, hose bibb). However neither one fit. I went to a plumbing store which had the correct size. My gripe is that Amazon should supply better information or supply a "3-Pack" so it covers my drain cap as well. Granted, the ad says, "Fits most drainable valves" but clearly not all.

I ordered these because I wasn't sure which size I needed. I was sure it was the smaller of the two, but it turned out that the larger one was what I needed. The new cap was a perfect replacement for an old one that had disintegrated over the years. No leaks!
