Regarding the previous review below, I had the same issue. I bought one in Feb 2015 for pepper, and after six months, it broke. I had also bought one in May 2015 for salt, and so far, so good. Unfortunately, I'm past the return date for the first one. I hope the second one lasts longer, and if not, I will advise. Perhaps the company would consider a design change if it continues to happen to others.

It worked fine for salt and pepper grinding , but it broke after only 3 months of use . The wheels are ceramic but the attachment is plastic and it just snapped off . Got a full refund from Amazon so 1 Star on the product and 5 Stars to Amazon for the amazing customer service .

I had seen this product on TV ad thought it would be perfect. I love a pepper grinder but hate the mess on the counter most pepper grinders leave. This product solves that issue and there was no mess on the counter. The button to adjust the grind turns easily, but I find that I don't really notice a difference no matter how much I adjust the grind. If you don't mind having medium grind - it is a great product.

Great little grinder with modern styling. The black one does an excellent job of grinding multi-colored peppercorns and the white one is great for pink sea salt --both at the stove and table. I'm not sure I really like the open tops . . . We use them everyday. These are the finest grinders I've ever purchased (spoiled myself)!
