Great product!
Michael Ray•March 4, 2017
I purchased this unit to store camera gear. It has three sliding shelves and holds a lot of lenses of moderate size including three camera bodies. I was afraid it was not large enough but thought I could but a second unit if I ran out of space. I won't need a second unit for now. The unit arrived in perfect condition and as promised. This was my first purchase from the "Hardware Factory Store" and it was a flawless transaction. I have not checked the calibration of the humidity measurement so I cannot comment on the accuracy. For the money, it is definitely a great unit. There instructions are poorly translated but I did not find this an issue.
A simple electronic dry box at a reasonable value.

I was slightly surprised by "3 shelf" being "2 shelves plus the bottom", but the actual product description is accurate. The photo is apparently a stock photo for a different unit.
General construction is good; the door opens/closes smoothly. Paint is smooth and consistent. It sits level and is overall true and square. The shelves are plastic but sturdy and easily adjustable. Minor quibble; the unit is shipped with the handle installed on the inner portion of the door, likely to prevent shipping damage. The entire front of the door is glass on a steel frame and there is already small chipping on the screw holes for the handle. There is no gasket, padding, etc. in the handle hardware.
I have 3 full-size DSLR bodies and an external flash on the bottom shelf, two large zooms plus three other small lenses on the middle shelf laying horizontal, and 4 small/medium lenses on the stop shelf standing vertical.
I haven't confirmed with a dedicated hygrometer, but the external display shows a drop from 53% to 43% humidity which is what I set it for.
There's no real security; it is after all a glass-fronted cabinet with a small cam lock. The lock itself turns smoothly and it does prevent the casual person from poking around inside.
I didn't measure exactly, but listed dimensions match reality. I could fit another body or lens on the bottom shelf and another lens on the top shelf, but it would be a bit crowded. This is apparently a purely TEC/piezo cooler; I don't think there is a fan, so there is no noise at all.

Very Pleased

Love it so far! I live in a high humidity environment (80%+) and constantly have mold forming inside my lenses. Since buying the cabinet, nothing has grown on any of my cameras or lenses, and I feel comfortable knowing that they are now dry!!
Accurate and reliable for storing camera lenses!

My second HFS cabinet to hold my Canon lenses. Living in Florida makes humidity a serious threat to my $20K lens investment for my business. These cabinets hold the set point humidity perfectly and are validated by my secondary humidity gauges in each cabinet.
I don't even know how it work or if it ...

I don't even know how it work or if it working, very little information about how to use it or how it work. And there is no phone number to call for support.
