Great for smaller to medium sized amps. Solid and sturdy.. Easy to modify if too narrow for open-back amps.

MONEY WELL SPENT! ,I bought 2 for my stereo amp setup.
I play thru 2 Bugera 55 watt infiniums.
The amps are very sturdy on the stands, but I intend to rig some kind of extension for the top rear tube. The top bar that supports the back of the amp is about 2 or 3" too short on each side to reach all the way passed the open-back frame.. The tubes are hollow with plastic caps on the ends, so it shouldn't be too hard to fix with a little bit of extra tubing.
That said, it still performs well for my amps. The stand is very sturdy, You'd never be able to topple it over or bend it..
They've never slipped or wabbled. The weight of the amp seems to keep it anchored to the stand like sitting in a saddle.. .
Still, I'm gonna make that one modification for extra insurance.
Might incorporate some Velcro while I'm at it.
Perfect amp fit… , folds down for superior portability!

Great for Deluxe And Princeton sized amps

Stand arrived a few days after ordering. Box was pretty beat up and no padding, but the stand was fine. Holds my "˜79 Deluxe Reverb just fine. Precisely what I was looking for, and at a great price.

I can also confirm that this stand works with a blackface/silverface Princeton or Champ, a Blues Junior or an Excelsior.

Update: After more than a year of constant use, I am happy to say this stand is performing like a champ. I use it almost exclusively with a 6G2 brownface Princeton clone with a 12" speaker. It's like the stand was made with a Princeton in mind. Highly recommended for Princeton players.

One final important note: This stand allows you to adjust the tilt. This is VITAL to maximize the benefits of using a stand in the first place. If you can point your amp DIRECTLY at your head (be precise), you will no longer have to engage in volume wars with other players in order to hear yourself. This will make for a better mix and happier audiences.

I've owned stands in the past that didn't adjust the tilt. I'm 6'2" ... gotta be able to adjust that tilt. If it's not pointing at your head, you're not doing it right.
Solid stand -- simple fix for those with crooked stands

I really like this stand and won't hesitate to recommend this, BUT I ran into the same problem as the negative reviewers in that the stand was crooked and the locking teeth did not mesh properly. It was a very simple fix but that is the only reason it is not five stars.

The seller, HiFi Sound Connection, was excellent and offered a replacement when I contacted them, but rather than going through that process I decided to disassemble the stand. It turns out in my case that the bolt on the NON locking side (this side without the thumbscrew) was too tight. This ended up pulling apart the two halves of the locking side and prevented the teeth from meshing.

By simply loosening the lock nut on the left (non-locking) side of the stand, the teeth meshed perfectly and the stand is very solid.

Also, two of the rubber end caps are actually adjustable height feet. Look for the ones that are not perfectly round. You can take these caps off and put them anywhere, then twist them into position to prevent the amp or the stand from wobbling.

This is a very good stand, just needs a little tweaking sometimes. Won't hesitate to recommend.
