I absolutely love Tree Hut scrubs. They are a staple and I have ordered multiple delicious scents. Every scent is amazing. Adequately coarse enough to remove dead dry skin (think sugar, not cornmeal) texture.
Moisturing. Rinses off and leave trace amounts of oil... But not greasy and excessive. I've purchased lesser products at higher prices. I keep a tub of it in my shower and use it regularly. Inexpensive, over the board wonderful product for dry elbows, hands, legs, etc.
***Too oily and coarse for face though... But that's not its claim.

I have been using Tree Hut products for years. After reading a review that this sugar scrub contained micro beads, I did a lot of research of my own to verify that. I don't want to use anything that has those beads in it. I found NO evidence that this sugar scrub has microbeads in it. It may have at one time but it doesn't now. Sugar is the main exfoliant, not plastic beads. I found an article that actually suggested that people use this brand on a website called Sailors for the Sea which talks about all things harmful to our precious ocean sea creatures.Having said that, there are a couple of questionable ingredients in this scrub that many other scrubs contain as well. This is not an all natural scrub.

I bought several scents but I like the Passion Fruit and Guava the best. It smells divine and the consistency is thick and rich. It gives my body good exfoliation and leavers it neutral - not dry but not super oily. I always use a good body butter or cream after showering so I don't expect the scrub to do the moisturising. It works really well at a great price. If you only use all natural products, this one isn't one you will want to buy but, as far as being super unhealthy or dangerous to the water and sea life, this is a pretty safe scrub and does no damage to sea life because it does NOT contain micro beads. If you like an even more scrubby scrub, add a little sea salt or table salt or use some sugar. I find it is plenty scrubby just the way it is.

I wish there were more 'not so feminine options' inexpensive body scrubs, and that more were available in pure white (I have white towels) - this one is the best compromise.

I use it for the psoriasis on my ankle. Since psoriasis involves overactive skin which grows (and dies) much faster than regular skin, keeping the dead skin scrubbed off is an ongoing task. I use it will exfoliating gloves as well.

Because of my use case, I don't really care much about scent, color, fanciness or brand - I just need human skin sandpaper.

Harsh product! Agree with other reviews that the description is misleading. Has plastic beads that it is terrible for the skin and environment. The fragrance is strong and irritates my skin. I use it only for my body, but after washing off I have been touching my face and this has led to my face burn up and tur red. Spraying rose water all day to keep the burning under control. Feel itchy and can sense break outs about to happen.

Mango smells wonderful but I'm not as crazy about the passion fruit (it's kind of sickly sweet and artificial). I was hoping the microbeads would dissolve in the water as advertised, but I'm not so sure they did, which poses a threat to the environment. I did the best I could by putting a shower strain when I emptied the tub, but either they did dissolve or the mesh wasn't fine enough to catch the microbeads. My skin was exfoliated well because the scrub is just abrasive enough without irritating, but I have some ethical concerns about repurchasing.
