I would have liked a larger size - in fact the label on this one was the part number for the larger size and description of the larger size. Overall., the product is what I expected.
Perfect for throwing away food scraps, not a composter!

It works great as a kitchen food scraps bucket, just as one should expect. The only thing is that things will start to rot and decompose (as is completely natural) so you just have to make sure to empty and rinse it fairly regularly (I would say at least once a week keeps the smell away). That said, the smell does stay contained fine if you keep it closed and around for longer than a week! So if you're too lazy to empty it or wash it out, you'll only smell the rot when you open it... All in all, I'm happy with it because it's a good size, easy to carry, and allows me to compost instead of throwing away countless food scraps in the trash, which is contaminating and a waste of perfectly good nutrients for many critters and bacteria that make dirt for us.

I like this. Would have like it to be more air right. However, it does the job. Used it for food composting in the past and now for dirty diapers for the day then take them out to the dumpster or to the washer for cloth diapers at the end of the day.

This compost bucket is garbage. The lid won't snap closed so the only way to close it tightly is by locking it down with the handle. That means you have to mess with the handle any time you want to put something in the bin or you can leave it unlatched and let fruit flies in and compost smells out. It also doesn't have any way to attach compost bags so if you use a compost bag it just slides inside. Buy something else!
Love

I love this. Inconspicuous on my dark counters, holds a lot, I can go a few days between emptying with no smell.
