Had to do some modifications to get it to fit on a 2007 Wrangler. It was missing one of the well nut inserts, a small black rubber thing with brass threads. There was only one in the kit. With some alternative bolts I had and some drilling it worked. if you have a 2010 or up JK it will be quick and painless.

I had to modify the mount slightly so the CB didn't interfere with the rear view mirror. Two options were, drill a hole out further from the original so the CB sits further away or put a spacer or larger nut on top of the mounting hole, then put the CB mount in place and tighten with the supplied hardware. This lifts the CB up and out of the way. (I don't think this is a mount issue...more of a CB size issue)

Quality design, fit an 08 JKU very nicely. Clean install and looks and functions well. Would buy again!

Great mount; I had to mark and drill two holes in the bracket that came with my Uniden 520 (not in the mount) to get it installed. Instructions were good. My only gripe is that one of the screws and nuts were messed up, requiring a trip to the store to replace.

There is absolutely no better way that I've ever seen to mount a radio in a 2016 Jeep Wrangler JK! Installation took 15 minutes, and did not require complete removal (just slight "dislocation") of the trim piece below the mounting position. The position is extremely easy to run power and antenna cables to, again without completely removing the trim piece. The mount is very stable, with only a slight vibration, which I attenuated with the use of a small rubber bottle stopper, and is holding a 4 lb 2M radio in my vehicle, no problems. The hook for the mic cord is ideal. I would have given five stars, except for two minor things that would have made the mount a little better: First, due to the design of the JH, the mount is closer to the driver's sun shade than the passengers, which causes one to have to modify the mounting bracket of just about any radio in order to shift it a bit to the right. (I also angled mine a bit toward the driver.) Second, besides the cable hook, it would be nice if somehow a microphone clip were worked into the design. Those are small omissions, though, as this mount is something that is so natural in the JK, it should come with it!
