As a case cleaner it does a perfect job. Inside of case, primer pocket, even the flash hole look brand new. Its built well, not too noisy.
BUT THE RUBBER ROLLERS ARE WAY TOO SOFT AND DEFORMED (they are egg shaped). Now the tumbler bounces on the rollers. It will only get worse with time. Am I the only one who has had this problem? If they come up with a new roller I will repurchase this case cleaner. Also the feet are not sticky enough and even before the roller problem it walked on my counter. The line cord is stiff plastic and the switch is junk, a rocker switch mounted on the machine would be more appropriate on a $200+ machine. Please fix these four issues on future machines. Its a shame as I really like the way it cleans. (please note how loud the tumbler is and it is EMPTY no casings ss media or water)

This kit is awesome. The Rebel 17 rotary tumbler can handle 4# of brass cartridge cases; twice what other tumblers can do. With the Frankford Arsenal monster case drier, you are ready to rock. I like the Lyman strainers for separating the pins from cases, and keeping the pins from getting lost. I am giving away my other tumblers, now that I have this one. Amazon needs to sell a three pack of replacement drive belts; those always break over time. Cheers

Well made, easy assembly (even though the instructions leave a lot to be desired), quiet, and still going strong after 20K+ casings of 9mm, 40S&W, 45 ACP, and 223. I de-prime by hand using a Harvey Deprimer (which is another of my best purchases) in order to sort casings and make sure primer pockets get cleaned. Along with the pins, I found my best results are with 4lb max of de-primed casings, water an inch or so below the top, 2-4 oz. of ArmorAll Ultra Shine Wash & Wax plus 2 large finger-pinches of Lemishine, and set the little timer I bought for 4 hours. (Note: don't let them sit after cleaning for over a couple of hours before rinsing or you get "red" brass. Still work fine but look out of place) I pour off water, do 3 rinses, dump into the laundry tub with enough water to cover and use the Frankford Arsenal Transfer Magnet (that I sealed to keep the water out) to pick out the SStl pins. I spread the brass out on an old screened bread tray, wipe with a rag, and put them beside the dehumidifier in the basement. A bit labor intensive, but the results even impressed the guys at my LGS, and that's saying something. This is really the only way to go.

I cant believe how effective this tumbler is. When I pore the brass out it shines like a pile of gold. It is also quieter than I thought it would be which is nice. The drum and drum liner look like they could last forever. I am running mine with exactly the recommended max of 4 pounds of brass and the motor has no problem. Mine did arrive with a manufacturing defect to the driven shaft which caused wobbling. I contacted STM and they promptly sent me a replacement part to fix it. I installed the new part and now its perfect.

These work very well if you just FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS and more is not better with Lemi Shine. Run for NO MORE then 4 hours and it is very clean and wont change the color of your brass.
