We have ours in our shower for music which works perfect. It's an added bonus that you can answer a phone call too- but I did have one mishap with that as it doesn't show you who is calling.
*Cue me answering 'HEY BABE- are you on your way home?!' blindly in the shower one evening, only to hear an 85 year old, German voice saying: "Ello, ellllo? Vat is dat noise?". Turns out it was my client calling with questions regarding his tenant after hours which was DEFINITELY NOT my boyfriend calling on his way home. I then panicked and hung up pretending the call dropped which was made easy by the one-touch answer/end call button.
Very easy to use. Easy to charge [obviously don't charge it in the shower- cuz water- duh]. Clear and simple to read buttons and loud sound for such a small bot.
Worth every penny. 10/10 would recommend for someone looking for something simple and efficient to use as a Bluetooth speaker.

Bought this little beauty as a Christmas gift for my daughter who loves singing in the shower. It is turning out to be the best present I bought. The sound volume and quality are both better than I expected. And since the initial charge on Christmas day we haven't had to charge it. Both she and I use it daily while showering. I haven't used the call function yet because I don't normally talk on the phone while showering! I was pleased that you can adjust the volume on the speaker because some of the reviews I'd read before purchasing claimed that it didn't have volume control. It does. Also, the suction cup is very strong and I'm not concerned about it falling down at all.
Great speaker that delivers way above what you should expect at this price!

What a fantastic surprise this thing is. For the price, you shouldn't expect a product this good, but it's quite good. It's super easy to set up, the feedback tones are really smart and helpful, sound is as good as I'd expect from something that needs to enclose the speaker. I'm sure for $100 or more you can get something fancy and bulky that sounds better, but I don't think any of us are looking for audiophile quality in our showers, are we?
Construction seems good, packaging is nice, as is the manual. If it weren't for the typos in the manual, this could pass as a $60 item on the shelf at some store.

This is a great little bluetooth speaker. I use it to listen to podcasts, mostly. Not much bass; wouldn't recommend for music.

I recently started using this as a speaker/mic combo with my computer for when I'm on conference calls. While it works GREAT from my perspective, the person on the other end often complains of feedback and echo. There is no way to turn *off* the mic as far as I can tell (please someone correct me if I'm wrong!), so while this is great as a portable speaker, it's not a good option for taking calls.
That said, if anyone can recommend an inexpensive bluetooth speaker/mic combo to me that doesn't pose this problem, please let me know!

Dead after 18 months. Extremely hard to disconnect from most recent device

Happy for the most part but I dock it two stars because it's REALLY hard to switch devices. Once you connect a decvice to the SoundBot, it clings to it like crazy. Example: If my phone was not the last device connected to it, and if the most recent device is somewhere within range, the SoundBot will connect to that last device before I have a chance to connect mine. There is no option on the speaker to disconnect it -- therefore, I have to go find that device and either turn off Bluetooth or click "Forget this device" on it. This is a total hassle considering that A) everyone wants to use this when they shower, and B) everyone has their own device. And it's especially painful when you are showering early in the morning and C) you need to go through other (sleeping) people's devices in their bedrooms to figure out whose device is married to the speaker. I've tried holding the power button down for 5+ seconds but that does not reset or re-pair the speaker. A reset/re-pair button would be nice.
