The best home and garden hose you'll ever purchase, read my 4yr review.

Purchased this hose 4+ years ago and just came back to give you guys the report: It's the best hose I've ever purchased, it's been driven on, it's been kinked, left out in the sun with full water pressure for weeks, this hose has gone through every punishment and still looks brand new and does not have any creases or kinks, it's absolutely great. Back then I paid like $97, and mine came with stainless steel fittings which still look brand new to this very day. I have gone through 5 or 6 other regular homedepot garden hoses in the back yard and realize I should've purchased 2 of these hoses and called it a day.
I was excited to find a hose that handles easily (after the initial unwinding)

I was excited to find a hose that handles easily (after the initial unwinding), is light, and is (in theory) suitable for drinking out of. Too bad the nozzle is rusting after only a few weeks of using it. I would certainly not drink out of this hose for that reason. But beyond that, I don't imagine it's going to last very long, and I will have to remember to run the hose a bit before using it to add water to our goldfish pond.
Tuff stuff

I try to keep the connection between the two hoes off the driveway; however the hose itself takes the usual vehicle traffic abuse and has shown no signs of wear. A bit stiff and isn't completely kink-free but can be uncoiled by twisting the hose from the outlet end. I was surprised that it does not use a traditional flat hose washer, rather, it has an o-ring inside the female end - the hoses have no joint leaks even after several months of use.
Proud to buy American

This is an awesome hose! Mine has been in service for two months now and I couldn't be happier. I had 5 of the "imported" collapsible, snaky junk hoses explode in less than three months. What a joke! Further research led me to these Water Right, American made, quality hoses. While not as light as the flimsy, self-destructing pieces of junk that are being marketed as collapsible hoses, they are significantly lighter than typical garden hoses. They're very easy to move around and to store. And they are rugged quality, built to last. Be sure to visit the Water Right website to learn how to properly break in your new hose. If you follow the instructions the hose will not kink. Stop wasting your money on junk, folks. You and the USA will be better off for it.
I like the fact that it is light

If you are looking for a hose that does not kink, this is not the one.
I like the fact that it is light, but that's about it. It tends to take the shape of the position in which you left it and then it is not very easy to straighten it out without it kinking. Forget about storing it in one of those retractable hose containers. It will not come out. It sticks to itself.
I will keep it because it is light and heavy duty, but don't expect miracles.
