There may be something wrong with the inventory coding on this item, since I received the wooden box with wood dice TWICE when I ordered this elephant. I have a couple of other items from this producer, and I like them very much, so IF you get what you order, you probably will like it. If it is a gift, check it out before you give it!

Recently purchased and I like the piece very much except even after rubbing/wiping it is still very chalky white in appearance. How do I get the great stone appearance shown in the photo? Is it possible? I would definitely give it 5 stars if I could accomplish that. Very nicely carved and as advertised size and weight. Arrived with back left leg broken but I glued it and it is not noticeable at all. Anyone know the secret to the stones appearance? Would welcome advice.

Perfect. Exactly what I wanted. Came well protected. The little elephant inside the mommy is so adorable. I had such a sculpture as a gift from an Indian co-worker, but I broke it when I packed it up for moving, the sculpture is very fragile. I am so glad to have found it again and to have it delivered in perfect condition.
