I love red. I'm also very picky about my reds. This is by far, among the best. It is a cool, clear red - not muddy or orange-y. When I ordered it, I thought it would be a ceramic-type tissue holder (my mistake) but in fact, it is acrylic. Make no mistake: you would NOT know it unless you picked it up or otherwise handled it. It looks great in my kitchen & I will undoubtedly wind up with several more!

Red was cheapest. However you can scuff it up and spray it any color you like. The item is not a form fit ( a little larger than most.) heavy enough to keep the box down when pulling out tissues. Fits my needs just fine. Hope this helped..

I purchased two covers since I already had one that I was satisfied with for the living and dining room areas. They complement our red carpet, and are small enough to fit on the various sofa table, telephone table, and a small side table. The tissue boxes fit perfectly within them as expected. I only noticed on one of the new boxes at the opening where the tissue comes out of, that there was a little sharpness only the inside ridge. I took the fine side of metal finger nail file and it was able to make it smooth with the roughness gone.
