Another Hemi story! Before I retired a bit more than 4 years ago, I used to park in a corner spot, but that's where the smokers liked to hang out. I clean my engines at every LOF. I know better than to leave Castrol Super Clean on long at all (went to 409 after this), but when I grabbed the garden hose, I noticed that underneath the intake manifold was all crammed full of cigarette butts/filters! WTF?! Some mouse evidently decided to make a home! First thing I thought was my shop vac won't get in there, and it didn't want to get my little house vac wet, so I grabbed it and started cleaning, all while the Super Clean was etching away at everything! This 300C is the only new car I have ever owned, and it made me sick!! I planned on repainting the intake, but after hrs and hrs of searching I couldn't figure out what the factory color was. Then got to thinking, maybe it's not even painted nor coated, and just bare aluminum? Thought about trying an aluminum brightener, but first tried a couple things I already had, like vinegar. Then realized it is painted, and not bare aluminum. I then ran across this Griot's stuff. I have never used an engine dressing before, and don't like shiny tire dressings (just like clean black), but I tried this stuff and it did the trick! After 4 years, I like to open the hood again! Couldn't be happier!!

It's my first time to clean engine bay cleaners. This one is quite easy to use even I am a newbie. I think it is great!
