I had paid the extra money and ordered the Plasma Car with the polyurethane wheels however when it arrived, it was the original model with the hard plastic wheels instead. I contacted the seller and they very promptly sent out replacement wheels without a hassle. I would highly recommend this company. Our granddaughter who is 5 loves this car! And we love the fact that she has to exercise to get it to move haha! I am 5' 2" and weigh 114 lbs and can also ride it without any problems!!!

My two year old loves this, she races her little best friend on hers. And I love that she'll be able to use it for years to come, because it suits all different leg lengths. So much fun.

Update: almost a year later and the plasma love is going strong. The other neighbourhood kids all got one and they love careering about on them (1-4 year olds). They all have different colours and look like a shoal of mad tropical fish. Other kids mostly have the ones with plastic wheels and it doesn't seem to make any difference to the way the thing rides to be honest. The car itself is in great shape despite some harsh treatment, they feel pretty indestructible. It's nice to have a toy that we can take out and I don't worry about it being fought over or wrecked by other kids. Unlike her very expensive balance bike! ha.

These things are awesome! We bought 2 for our boys ages 2 & 7. They work fine with no scraping on our hardwood floors, have not taken outside but don't intend to because we have other outside riding toys. The thing I love the most is how much bang you get for your buck with this ride on. They can literally take this thing to college with them! So sleek, sturdy and easy to assemble. I have rode on it I'm 123 lbs, my husband is 6'4" 235 lbs and has tried it even though I told him to get off out of fear of breaking it lol. My 2 year old can use it by himself, he's pretty independent so it just depends on your child. It does take a little getting used to the controls but once you figure it out it's nothing. The colors are great although a little bit darker than the photo. My sons love to play "mario kart 8" in real life with them. I ride on it with my 2 year old sometimes and we both fit, same as my 7 year old he also rides with the 2 year old sometimes just for fun. I really do love these things and I'm so glad I was able to purchase them as one of their christmas gifts because they kept going out of stock. These were seriously the best gift ever due to their longevity! This would be a great gift idea for any child!

Bought three of these PlasmaCars for my Grandchildren at Christmas. My seven year old Grandson cannot wait for the snow to melt so he can ride his car outside. My Grandaughters, three and two, got on these PlasmaCars, and, had a ball. Was surprised to see how easy they were to work and ride. My two year old Grandaughter just watched her older brother and sister, then, woosh, she was 'off and running'. These PlasmaCars are great for children of all ages (even parents, too). Highly recommend these PlasmaCars, especiially the ones with the polyurethane wheels. The polyurethane wheels allow these cars to go faster and will last longer than the plastic ones. You won't believe how much FUN these cars are for kids . . . . .

This is the 2nd one for my son and bought 2 more for my nephews. A must have for kids ages 3-10. It is one toy that will be used for so many years. This is a newer version than the one I bought 4 years ago and is much improved. Much smoother and quieter. Can be used outdoors and inside the house. Buy the original rather than the knockoff. They are not the same.
