My daughter loves this phone. I like how it "talks back" to you and rings on its own. The music button on the side is a particular favorite of my daughters and the songs are not annoying like you'd typically find on children's toys. The volume is a bit soft and the record a sound button is even softer (almost inaudible), but I'm not complaining much as other toys she has are ridiculously loud - I like to err on the side of somewhat quieter.

I wish it was a little louder but other than that I love this toy. My child has been obsessed with it for about 4 months now. Which is a long time for toddlers. B. toys are the best though. They aren't super hideous or crazy loud and obnoxious and kids really like them.

We bought this for our 2 year old nephew. He likes to get his mom's phone and pretend he is talking. He likes this little phone because we can record something and the phone will call him with the message. It would be nice if the recording time were longer. Also, once you hit the record button again, the previous message is gone, so this will not hold a permanent message.
