If your child likes music and lights - I would NOT recommend this toy! You Can't HEAR it!!!!
Our 4-month-old granddaughter loves looking at our cell phones "“ she loves the lights and music. I decided to buy her one of her very own. I am VERY disappointed ~ You can't hear it. This is supposed to be an interactive toy - but she can't even hear it and lost interest in it very quickly. I even changed the batteries to see if that would help and it didn't. Needless to say I am very disappointed and sad I wasted my money!

It’s okay...

It's loud enough to hear, and thankfully not obnoxiously loud like many other toys on the market. The buttons are soft and easy for baby to push. The toggle switch thing on the bottom slides back and forth, and when the buttons are pushed, a small light around the buttons emits and the toy announces a number, phrase, or jingle.
Yes, my babies still want their parents' cell phones...this does not replace their urge...I wish the phone looked more realistic and wasn't so thick...i.e. make it slimmer like a real cell phone so they think it's real!
The toy arrived with old batteries with the toy sounding slow and funny leading me to believe my toy must be old. For safety reasons, I don't understand why a company would leave batteries in a toy. Include them in separate packaging!

We have a number of toy phones and this is my daughers' favorite. She has the pink version and I bought this one for my 9-month old nephew, which he loves. I like the dual use of each of the buttons with numbers/apps. They seem to specifically like the buttons better than some of the other kid phones, they're easier to push and have better back-lights than others.
The fan favorites seem to be the music button (my 15 month old dances around the kitchen with it) and the photo button which makes sounds like a real phone camera. Even my 4-year old takes 'selfies' with it.
Great product, definitely a good toy for any phone-obsessed child.

Somewhat disappointing

Laugh and Learn smart phone was dead upon arrival. Took it apart to make sure there wasn't a safety battery strip protecting the battery. Sound is very low, which to some people may seem like a blessing, but I think it needs to be a tad louder to hear the numbers being taught or other concepts on the toy phone. I'll be sending it back and trying to find one that works a little bit better. Size is age appropriate to grab for little hands and fingers.
It is phone obsessed so this is a great alternative than a real cell phone

Bought as a gift for a relative. The little ones loves it. It is phone obsessed so this is a great alternative than a real cell phone.
