Looks nice but far from a nice performance and experience

It has become basically just a household decoration piece, That is because all the phone batteries are too wide to be used with it. I dont know why the manufacturers built such a small space with an industry where phone batteries are getting bigger. Also, when I connected a uSB while it was also charging via AC, it just malfunctioned. That was hurtful and disappointing. My previous universal charger did that without malfunction. Again, I have to wonder why the manufacturers would make a product with two avenues for charging and when you try to use them the product stops working. that just does not make sense.

This charger works exactly as promised. The 2100mAh LG BL-52UH batteries for my LG Realm LS620 take longer to charge than I hoped, but there is PLENTY of time to charge a few before the one in my phone runs down.
It is easy to quickly slot in the battery, with the spring-loaded sliding door keep it secure. Without reading any instructions I just started guessing which of my battery's contacts to connect to the charger's contacts and after a few tries I found the right combination. I really wanted one specific to my battery, not a universal one, but I didn't find one. I was afraid the battery wouldn't stay seated securely or the contacts would be difficult to line up but neither fear came true.
It came with some unexpected features that I like. It acts as a battery charge meter; just insert a battery without plugging the charger into AC mains power and the display lights up with battery state of charge. There is a USB port that I haven't tried, but obviously it is there to provide charging; it will be very useful on the day when all my other chargers are occupied and I need to charge something USB. The prongs for the AC mains power fold into the charger for sleek storage, instead of sticking out and making the whole thing larger; it doesn't catch on things when you put it in a drawer or backpack.

For the price I'm a bit surprised by how well it works; but I cannot complain at all. It charged my 3ds battery from 9% to 50% in the time it takes to go to the corner of the block and eat a burrito.

Does what it says but charges slow and you have to be careful to put the pins in the right place or it will show that it's charging but it's actually just draining the battery
