Pretty good pants for a wet commute

I bought a medium and had to return them because they were too small (i'm 6'1" &170lbs) and had some weird defect in the fabric. The large definitely fits better and are easier to put on, but they're also pretty baggy in the crotch and upper leg area. That being said the windstopper material performs really well during my early morning commutes and the waterproof feature works well at a light drizzle and below. My only other complaint is that the leg opening isn't a zippered one. I really like the zippers on my Pearl Izumi pants because they keep the opening nice and tight. After a few weeks use the opening on these seems to have stretched out a tad and I hope the trend doesn't continue.

Great tights! These guys are a godsend on my chilly morning commute. Not a ton of bulk but, as the name says, they block wind exceptionally well. Good padding without feeling like you're wearing a diaper. I have another pair of tights without wind blocking fabric and, well, my "manhood" still hasn't forgiven me for that one time I wore them in freezing temps. I've tested these down to about 28 degrees Fahrenheit and they're perfect. I'm honestly not sure why you'd need anything heavier even for temps into the low 20s or upper teens. Highly recommend picking up a pair.
