I thought these would be pairs (opposites attract) so that the 2 faces would snap together but they don't .. they repel.
My handyman worked around the issue but then the 2 sides on doors don't match.

Really not that strong. Will make ur fingers black when handling them. The silver plate may look nice but really just hinders there strength. Wish I passed on this & spent more on a more powerful magnet.
