Good product, but pitching fixture too fast.

Purchased this to play with my 12 year-old nephew. The pitching fixture throws a fast ball that I can barely handle and that nephew cannot handle at all. A year after our purchase, we still have had to institute pitch countdown and play without balls and strikes. To use the pitching mechanism as designed, he strikes out 20 times in 9 innings. You can take a little off the spring loaded pitching fixture (it works like a pinball plunger, but with a switch), but it still has some speed to it and is difficult to do consistently. You're just effectively changing speeds and making it impossible to time the pitch. I love all other aspects of the game and we've enjoyed it.

Purchased for an 8 year old, and he loves this game. We enjoy playing with him. Small parts though, if there are pets or younger children.

I bought this for my 6 yr old grandson for Christmas. I'm hoping he and his 12 yr old brother like playing it even though it's not an "electronic". It could be questionable ðŸ˜ðŸ¤”

My 8 year old son loves it. There are a lot of pieces and details to the game so we don't use everything provided and still have fun playing our own simplified version.
