On the surface it looks like a nondescript sort of ordinary container of lip balm. But the lysine content must add a splash of magic because this stuff is incredible.

I used to get cold sores quite a bit in my youth and I wish I had known about this product back then. At the first sign of a cold sore, I take lysine orally and dab this ointment on as needed (about once an hour or so). It starts to zap the sores, I mean it starts annihilating the tiny blisters til they shrink down to nothing. The best part is the ointment is so soothing. There is also no jarring added fragrances.

I hope this brand NEVER stops making this. It's been 8 months and I have had no issues with my lips, zero cold sores! I used to get them when I was very sick, stressed out, or in the cold winter months. My lips always feel super moisturized using this. It's hard to find a good chapstick that doesn't try your lips out or make them worse. I have lip filler and idk how or if this has any backing but I feel like this has helped the longevity of them. I've also used this on scars and it's helped tremendously! I wish it came in a tube form that's my only complaint. The base is petroleum, lanolin, menthol, and camphor but there is no minty or strong scent it's truly non scented. They say petroleum is bad in lip balms but I don't give a damn cuz this works for me! All in all, I will be buying this for the rest of my life. It's also nice it's a two pack!

This is the first lip balm I have been able to use everyday. Great product to use at the onset of symptoms.

I use this balm every night before bed. I like the thickness of it, and it keeps my lips from drying out. I can feel that it is still on when I wake up. I like that it is flavor and colorless. I don't get cold sores, so I can't testify on how well it fights those (except maybe the balm is why I don't get them?).
