Oil is priced lower than auto supply shop and local repair shops.

This Mobil European Car Formula is recommended by my car's manufacturer, so I was pleasantly surprised to find it here at a great price with fast shipping. It's normal for high performance engines to need a quart or two a couple times between fuel changes, so I always keep a fresh 5 qt jug in the garage.

Being honest, any motor oil that meets the API rating for your vehicle is sufficient, where Mobil 1 pulls out is with its warranty. I did a bunch of reading of studies and talked with Mobil about their oil warranty, and not only is it legit but it's also THE only oil brand on the market that has such a program. Within the normal full synthetic grades there's basically 2 levels of Mobil 1, a 10K mile oil and a 20K mile oil. Both oil grades under normal usage are good for up to 1 year between oil changes or to the 10K/20K mile mark"¦which ever occurs first. Oil change interval defaults back to 6 months if towing, constant start stops, or if in a very dusty environment. Mobil 1 even says that you can deviate from the car manufacture's 6 month oil change cycle and they will still warranty the oil and any engine damage so long as you don't exceed the 1 year or mile rating"¦technically they recommend you stay with manufactures oil change cycle if the car is still under the manufactures warranty, but once that period ends they say stick to the 1 year period. If you do your own oil changes, this extends the 6 month interval which ends up saving you $30-$50 for oil and filter during the year. Given that Mobil 1 is within a few bucks of all the other motor oil brands it's a no brainer to go with Mobil 1 which is not only a better quality oil but also saves you some money in the long run. Note this is also the same oil that is rebranded as Toyota's Official Oil Brand that is used at the car dealership.

Great oil for the money, I could not beat this price and it is a very highly rated motor oil.

This stuff is INCREDIBLY! It's slick, it's slimy, it pours slowly when it's cold. As a matter of fact, it pours slowly when it's warm, just not as slowly as when it's cold. It's thick when it's suppose to be and it's thin when it's supposed to be, and when it's in between thick & thin it's "just right", perfect for that precise moment in time. To anyone that might have a fetish for golden colored fluids, a can't help but imagine, this is the best thing that ever happened to them!!! Keep up the good work Mobil!
