Very easy to get started and to use. I keep mine in my kitchen window and I add a little bit of the plant food that is provided every time I fill the water. I even bought a second kit to grow Thai basil in, I just used my own seeds and it is sprouting perfectly.

Great concept, but my complaint would be on shipping product assembled; 1) The metal band came dented and it took a force to get it off I know enough about jars, collars and lids to get a replacement one, but the basket is not replaceable to the common folk over the counter 2) We mended to bend and mangled lip on the basket best of our ability to use for its intended use.

Love the different colored glass jars they grow in. Easy set up and self-watering. Within a few days had Sprouts. Photos are from 7th day after set up. I reserved a star, because haven't grown enough to use the cilantro yet to know how good the cilantro will be
