A toy. look elsewhere.

The first one died after 6 uses converting 19 to 12 volts at less than 2 amps for a couple of hours and now will only output around 4 volts no matter the adjustment The second one is flaky and display wanders almost a whole volt so not very useful, I expect it to die soon as well.
Works as advertised. Quite impressed

I use this item as an intermediate voltage boost stage between a 12V ATX power supply capable of 44A and a mpt-7210a boost converter that I use to charge a 52 volt nominal 14s ebike battery. The result is quite impressive as I have been able to get the full 150 watts out of this little guy. I blow a Honeywell fan on top of the heatsink for my "enhanced cooling." The heatsink does get fairly hot but nothing too crazy. At 150 watts I am definitely between 12-16 amps.(depending on the efficiency) on the input as well. With this configuration the load regulation does suffer after a while though so I back it off to 140 watts and it seems to run stably. For something that costs 6 bucks this is not bad at all.
Great product. Excellent seller (Gowoops).

Product works great as a step-down DC voltage reducer. I use it to reduce my 12V solar battery output to various voltages I need. I give big kudos to the seller, too, for responsiveness and customer support. If you can't get the voltage to go down the first time you use it, turn the screw counterclockwise at least 10 times. Worked perfectly after I followed their instructions.
Working well to provide power to computer fans

These little devices work as expected. I used one to increase the voltage from 12V (input to this device) to 20V (output fed to a motor driver). Under the load imposed by the motor driver and fan connected to the driver, the output from this device dropped less than 1V relative to no-load. The current through the device was about 0.6A under those conditions. I've used it for only about a week, but so far it is working well.
Update: I have six of these in use now, boosting voltage from 12V input (from computer PSU) to 22V output. Most of them have been running for about a month. No problems with any of them. These little guys seem to be very reliable.
Cool product

I love it! But... One of the two units was missing a 330 ohm chip resistor and so was only passing input voltage through. Luckily I have an assortment of resistors and was able to fix this one. They work great for my application only getting slightly warm to the touch when pushed hard. They are awesomely small for their capability and there were no noticeable harmonics. There was under a mV of ripple seen on my o-scope. And the output voltage is stable under load and even when the input voltage varies considerably. Great product!
My project was to power 4, 30 watt class T amplifiers for use in my truck. I am running 2 amplifiers per boost circuit going from 12-14 volts from the vehicle to 19 volts and pulling 2-3 amps from the boosted side.
