I ordered the clear gloss only. Ive owned it before and loved the moisturizing aspect. However, what was delivered to me was not an authentic product. A)The tube is different. The real CoverGirl product has a shorter top and longer tube. This one has a much longer too, leading me first to realize there is probably less product. B)the packaging doesnt match. The CoverGirl logo is in the right font, and the strip is black, not silver, like every other CG product ever. C) the product itself was clearer than the one i used to own, meaning theres less lotion, and more petroleum jelly.

Check the pics, not an authentic product. But for the add-on price for $3, im not gonna waste my energy trying to return or fight it. So dissapointing.

I used to use this back in the 90's. Yes-way back then, over a long wear lip stain cover girl had, and I loved it. I also used the clear by itself until I couldn't find it anymore. I was thrilled to find it a few years back and bought it here on Amazon. It burned my lips so bad I got small blisters. My lips were red and raw for weeks. I had bought it from a 3rd party seller so I chalked it up to that and thought it was an old product. Fast forward to now. I recently bought this new as a Prime item. I wore it once, and I did not get blisters, but I did get a reaction again. My lips turned red, burned and got raw and flaky. My lips healed after two weeks of putting shea butter on them. It is a shame because there is obviously some new chemical in the lip gloss it I have a reaction to. If you don't have a reaction to it, you will love the long lasting, non-sticky shine.

This lipstick is amazing. I've tried several all day lipsticks recently (Maybeline Superstay 24 Hour, Revlon Colorstay Overtime, Jeffree Star) and none of them compare to this one. It goes on smooth, dries quickly and evenly, and lasts through pretty much anything including eating and drinking. I love the lip balm that goes over top. It's moisturizing without being too glossy and is great for refreshing the color. Still looks good as new after 8 hours! See my photo for a glimpse of Canyon. This lipstick is my new favorite!

I remember when these first hit the shelves when I was in 6th grade at 12 y/o.

Lots of girls had the gloss stick but rarely did I see the actual lip colors that typically come in the kits. I wanted one, but I didn't want to get the liquid lipstick as well, because I wasn't into makeup yet at that age. Sadly, I was completely unable to find the gloss stick sold alone and I refused to shoplift one like some of the other girls had. I was fascinated by the gorgeous gloss these would give the other girl's lips! It just gave the perfect amount of gloss without looking goopy or thick like some liquid lip-glosses can do. I didn't like liquid lip-gloss back then, which is why I wanted one of these so badly.

I looked for the gloss stick alone for years, but it is just not in drugstores in my area! It was so frustrating... So, when I saw this here on Amazon, I got a huge rush of nostalgia and just had to buy a couple!

I will definitely be buying more! It's everything I remember; not greasy, not goopy, silky, smooth, good consistency, only a little bit needed for a super-glossy look, and smells like cotton candy!! That's my favorite scent in the whole world! (Not to mention my favorite food!) I was very pleasantly surprised by that! I am having a romance with matte liquid lipsticks/lip-lacquers right now as well, and this is perfect for adding just the right amount of moisture to the matte, so my lips don't dry-out/crack, nor will they look parched and shriveled (not cute).

I can't get enough of this product! I can't wait to keep it stocked in my collection for as long as I possibly can!

This stuff is seriously amazing. It stands up to even the higher end brands like Stila and Lipsense! You can't beat the price and the colors are beautiful. It lasted through all my meals. I can't believe such an awesome product is made by Covergirl!
