Other than having to wait several weeks for this cover to arrive, I'm very happy with it. Nice heavy upholstery weight fabric tweed cover. It was easy to put on our futon mattress and though we haven't used it long I feel it will hold up well. The double zipper pull is a nice feature. Please note: this cover is not reversible so if you need a reversible cover look elsewhere. So far I'm happy!

Worried it would not fit the extra thick mattress we purchased with our futon locally a few years ago. That store discontinued its futon sales and gave us no help in ordering a new cover. Was very pleased to find this less than $100 (what the store used to charge for replacement covers) and that it fit the extra thick futon mattress (the thickest of three full-size mattresses that they sold). Would buy a more solid gray color in this same durable weave if they sold one.

I received this futon cover just this afternoon, and wrestled it onto the mattress only a couple of hours later. Wow! I've had a lot of different futon covers, but this is the first one I ever bought that I think was worth the price. It is REALLY heavyweight; so I have reason to think it will be durable. The tweed fabric is great; it's nubby but not harsh. The color is great, too--a rich, dark brown shot through with white threads. The zipper is very heavy-duty (I've had the zippers on other covers break the first time I put them on, so I appreciate that!) It's snug, and that is wonderful, for there's nothing worse than a futon cover that's a sloppy, wrinkled mess every time someone sits on the couch. I don't know yet if it will wash well, but it sure isn't going to easily show dirt, so I'll worry about that later. I don't review many purchases anymore, but I have to say I'm really happy with this purchase.

Futon cover. Fit my thick full size futon easily and well. Good, strong quality. Surprised at the price considering and was awesome to get it so quickly. Extra awesome that it's a small business. (There was an oddity with the stitching in one small spot, I'm guessing there were 2 loose strands that got sewed in. I didn't try to replace it, sure wouldn't have problems if I tried. Decided I liked it just as well with it;)

The brown material is nice, however, we should have gone with the all velvet cover since the basket weave material is a little rough. However, it's super durable and it was easy enough to flip so that the velvet side is face up. Super easy to zip down so that the futon mattress can slip in easily. It was pretty large for our futon mattress, which is 4" thick, however to remedy the extra space I put extra blankets that we don't use into the futon cover and zipped everything together, so it inadvertently acts as a storage space for my blankets, which is a bonus.
