Won't melt with typical soldering iron.

Perhaps it is my lack of jeweling experience in not knowing what this is for, but I was under the impression this was solder for repairing/making jewelry. This would not melt with a typical solder iron. I even for the tip red hot, and it would not melt this so I could fix my wife's jewelry. I saw the melting point was in the 1000's of degrees, so just a word of warning to anyone thinking they can use a typical soldering iron with this stuff.
