I love this chair! Our baby was just learning to sit and would topple over and bang his head. With this chair I can put him on the floor with toys around him and he can grab them since the chair is soft. I take this to restaurants and on outing and it makes life so much easier! I have the hard bumbo and another sit me up and I wish I got his first! It's a little pricey but it will make your life easier and less worrisome about your baby toppling over.

For the stage when your child is a wobbly sitter and/or you own a wagon for baby/toddlers - this is perfect. On the floor: I've feed children in it. In my baby/toddler wagon, it helps support the baby (6-10 months) through the bumps we encounter. This is much easier than the car seat attachment. I have manipulated to be a resting pillow if said baby wants to lie back and take a little snooze in the wagon. Super easy to grab and go, easy to clean. As a new grandmother of 7 and 10 month olds - this is easily one of the better purchases I have made.

The product is good quality, soft and comfortable (or looks like that to me as an adult). I got it when my son was around 2 months, hoping it would help him learn to sit, but so far he is not a fan. He is now 3 months and still really grumpy about being put in it.
He can hold his head up fine when being held or carried, but still doesn't sit up unassisted well. The back lets him recline a little too much, which might be ok, but the sides are spaced so widely that he ends up slumping to one side. We've tried sticking pillows or blankets around him to kind of fill the hole and add support, but with his squirming it doesn't stay in place well.
I think when he can sit up on his own, this will be a great couch seat. The wide space will come probably come in handy when trying to put him in. That is an upside of the design, the flexibility of the cloth and stuffing "lap band" and the velcro strap that holds it in place makes it easier than some other seats to get baby in and out of.
