these printers are great for a very reasonable price

these printers are great for a very reasonable price. I do have to say I have them hardwired to each computer so I can't really comment on the wireless issues people are talking about. Also I would like to say that we are still using the cartages that came with the printers, we are a small office that prints maybe 15 pages a day, we still have about 45 percent of ink according to the software, so again, I don't really know why other people have been experiencing a very short life of the trial cartage. The print quality is very good, and the scanner works great. I would recommend this printer.
Great choice

This printer is a beast. It prints extremely quickly and hasn't run out of ink in over a year of solid use. It is easy to use and reliable. The only issue is that it can be tricky to get it to scan with my MacBook Pro but it works fine with PCs. So be aware of that. My Mac is seven years old however so that might be because of the computer, not the printer. I still do think the printer is a fantastic buy.
Try something else.

This printer is pure garbage.
It won't connect to my wifi via the WPA button, so I have to set it up via USB cable. Which is only a mild annoyance, except for the fact that it loses the wifi router information every other month. This means I'm almost always setting the printer up before I can print anything.
Try any other printer before you get this one.

Works well, without fuss

We've had this a few weeks now, and it has worked flawlessly so far. Easy to set up and configure for the wireless LAN. Once set up, printing over the air from laptops/iphones/androids is simple. Quality of the prints is good. The auto document feeder is a little tricky to engage - you need to listen for the "beep" from the printer which indicates that you've pushed the paper(s) to be copied far enough into the feed tray. The scanning quality is excellent, with a choice of scanner resolutions.
Love the printer

Love the printer. Is so much faster than inkjet and much more economical to operate. Using USB cable to computer. After reading so many negative ratings about getting it to work on WIFI, I wasn't ready to engage in that battle. Before I bought this is printer I had a Canon all in one which I did use on WIFI, but the connection was unreliable on the Time Warner router we have to use.
