i am a avvid hunter these are the best feeders going, i am also the manager of a hunting camp i am trying to get everyone to use these feeders

Don't work very well. Filled with whole kernel corn, everything binds up and won't spread the corn. If I touch it , then it spins, tried another new battery, same thing. Never had that trouble with my other feeders. That's maybe why it was cheap

Only downfall for me is I would like to be able to program the two different feed times myself.

Worked as advertised. I painted the sides of the bucket where the seams come together so they wouldn't rust. I also used two short bungee cords to hold the lid on (not a tight fit). On the rope to hang the feeder I also included a lid from a 5 gallon plastic bucket that sat on top of a knot in the rope about 3 feet from where the feeder attached to the rope. The lid acted as a deterrent to squirrels and other critters crawling down the rope and cleaning out the feeder! For performance, the unit operates as it was supposed to going off religiously 1 hour before sundown and 1 hour after sun up. It really slings the corn, so look out if you are sitting too close to the thing.

Easy to hang. I use a ratchet strap between two trees. Will hold almost all of a 50 lb bag of soy beans. I used screws with nuts and lock washer instead of what comes with it. I set the timer for about 5 seconds and it lasts for two weeks.
