Ordered a two pack twice, once in 2014 and again less than a year ago. They work so great at first, feels like best can opener we've ever had. Smooth, easy, like butter. Then, they stop working properly: opener cuts cleanly for an inch or two, rolls over the top of the can, then cuts again, then rolls over, etc. Stuck with a partially opened can. We ordered them last year thinking maybe we had gotten duds the first time, but now we've had this pair less than a year and the SAME problem. Gave one to my Mom because she has arthritis. Same story. Loved hers at first, favorite can opener, now it doesn't work.

Great product. Opens cans with little effort. Follow the directions and dont put in the dishwasher because it will rust out. Wipe and rinse is all thats needed to keep them clean and operating smoothly.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I've been in search for a can opener that actually works and works with ease and this is it! Prior to this, I had the ---away, but pretty much died on me; it would no longer open cans properly. But this baby, it works wonders! You don't have to use much force at all to move the twist portion. Another plus is that it's made in the USA! You don't see that as often as you should.

If you miss the old school Swingaway can openers that were easy on the hands, this is what you're looking for. The red handles make it easier to find in the drawer. Makes more sense to buy two at a time for just a little more--you'll want one wherever you may need to open cans. I have one in our camping gear, one in my office desk drawer, plus of course in the home kitchen. We've had the single one we bought for nearly 2 years, and it works just as well as when we got it. A blessing for my arthritic hands since the modern Swingaway just aren't as good as they used to be!
