Buy It!!!!

Very sturdy for being aluminum but yet lightweight. I could sit in this stand all day with no issues of not being comfortable, Summit knows what they are doing for sure!!!
Seat is comfortable. Simple to use and easy to climb
Amazon Customer•October 17, 2017
I bought two. These work very well. Seat is comfortable. Simple to use and easy to climb. The backpack straps for carrying are not great. If you plan to carry the stand long distances, you may want to rig up a better solution. Otherwise I recommend it.
Great stand for beginners and veterans alike

First hunt with this stand, which was also my first time climbing with this, I got a great 8 point. This treestand is extremely comfortable and easy to use. I would highly recommend to anybody that is new to climbing treestands. The only issue I might have with it is the padding they give you to wrap around the bars are very loud, but I just took them off so it wasn't really an issue.
Love this stand

Love this stand; however, when delivered there was damage and I had to bang/bend back some of the aluminum where you put locking cable. It would not go in and lock.
Summit Viper SD Treestand worked well for trimming palm trees.
David Q Dobras•March 1, 2017
It worked very well. I am using it to climb my Mexican fan palms to trim the dead leaves. I saw that recommendation on a tree-trimming web-site. It was a little cumbersome to ride up and down the rough surface of the trunk, but it got the job done. The set-up instructions might have been more clear.
