Bought this for a Craftsman Wet/Dry vac that I own. Product shipped on time and was well packaged. The adaptor fit securely to the vacuum with no issues at all. Only complaint is that it is overpriced for what is essentially a threaded piece of plastic

The base (large end) of the adapter has internal threads to screw on to the Wet/Dry Vac. This works very well with the Gilmour 03V Brass Garden Hose Connector with Shut-Off Valve . I turn the valve off when suctioning through the vacuum and open it to drain. I can also attach a hose to the valve.
