So worth it.
If you bake bread then you know you need bags. These are heavy duty compared to others and can be reused several times if you don't use them for anything sticky or frosted.
Would also be good for retail, as they won't tear or puncture like cheaper bags.
Twist ties included are really cheap, but that's the only downside.
First package I ordered showed up having clearly been previously opened and was missing zip ties, but amazon took my return no questions.

I bake my family whole wheat bread a couple of times a week. These bread bags at perfect for storing the bread I make and keeps it fresh. I make 3 large loaves at a time, and since it has no preservatives 2 of the loaves go into the freezer to keep them fresh. They are always taken out within a few days and used, so I don't know if they would stay in the freezer long term without freezer burn, but they do work great for a few days.
Someone mentioned that their bread gets damp when they put it right away in the bags. You do need to wait until the bread cools down, or you will get condensation and damp bread. I sometimes put them in warm, but just leave the ends open until they are cooled. Once cooled completely I put the twist tie on.

Was surprised at the sizes of these! Will be able to hold any of the bread that I bake. The only thing I am not thrilled with are the ties. They are flimsy and the paper comes off easily. I went ahead and bought some of my own at Hobby Lobby---problem solved. That little thing would not stop me from buying again.

Having semi-retired over the past year (2015), I finally took up my hobby of bread baking in earnest. It wasn't until I finally got a stand mixer that I was producing more bread than we could eat in a timely fashion. To deal with this problem, I purchased the heavy-duty bread bags in order to freeze my extra loaves. They have worked wonderfully, and have held my largest loaves without any issue. If you're planning on freezing any bread, make sure you get the heavy-bags, and not the thinner ones!
