This product protects my mailbox's post exactly as advertised. The self-tapping screws hopefully won't rust.

My post measures 3 1/2 inches x 3 1/2 inches, but this cover fits very tight.
Had to use a rubber mallet to put last section together.
While doing that, the entire cover is now too low in the ground (not sure if it will do much good).
4 inches tall is not enough.
Would not have purchased if I knew what I know now.
