We bought this scope to keep an eye on the status of healing after my wife's recent sinus surgery.
She'd been doing the sinus rinses, and I look inside to see if there are any spots that aren't being rinsed out sufficiently, to prevent polyps or scar tissue. It's great for that.
For basically the price of a hamburger, it's hard to bring up negative points... but it's worth saying it's basically a pen light with a mirror and a cone. The light is hard to keep on... it flickers a lot. And there is no magnification. But, as I said... it does do the basic job.
If you're real handy, you can even stick an iPhone to the end of it to photograph the progress!

To keep the light on you have to hold down the little handle thing on the side of it. But it works very well for the price.

The head of it is very sensitive to touch. If you just tap it against something, it will fall off. Works great otherwise for what I need it for. Although pushing the pocket clip down with your finger makes it so easy to use. You also have to make sure you don't have it pressed against something when you're done with it, leaving it on. It's very sensitive. Other than that, very easy and convenient to use. Battery change is easy. My only question would be, how do we change the lightbulb, if we even can. I'd like to have a brighter one. This one is ok. But tends to dim after a long period of time leaving me to think maybe the batteries were dying. I changed the batteries and it still remained dim eventually. So it must be the bulb. Not too awful bad. I can deal with it considering the price of this gadget.
