Not quite sure how this differs from the 2 pound food tray other than being a bit smaller. I find it quite adequate for my purposes (snacks). Seems sturdy enough for other kinds of food, which suits me fine, especially at the office where being sturdy and disposable help. Might be a decent sub for the small party plates we use.

Exactly what I needed! We got them for a baseball party for hotdogs, but now we use them for everything, like snacks during the day, watermelon, frito pie, nachos, sandwiches, etc. Sturdy and so far they are leakproof. We've used with nacho cheese, juicy pickles, corndogs and condiments and lots of things that a thin paper plate would not be ideal for. Very handy for parties and to have around the house for kids.
