Works great. I didn't know if I would like the stabilizing spears, but they actually make moving rounds bales easier. The build seems to be quality and very heavy duty. The ratchet binder is probably harborfrieght quality, but, hey, even they have good quality items from time to time. Chances are, I will have this for years without complaint. Shipped in 2 boxes.
Seems to be a good value for your buck.

Spear and stabilizers are shipped separately from base. Having a little trouble with hooking it up to my tractor. I think I got it but we'll see how long it holds up. Great length for my round bales that are 4 feet and diameter and 5 or 6 feet wide.
Like product has broken part.

I like this item but the ratchet part doesn't work. I would like to get that part replaced and keep the rest of it.
A shipping error resulted in half of the item to be delivered over a week late.

Directions for installing the farm implement would have been very helpful. We received the frame promptly...but the spears were not delivered for over a week after the frame. No instructions were provided for the item.

So far so good, purchased in October of 2017. I have used it to move and unload numerous bales of wrapped silage hay weighing around 1000 to 1200 lbs. No issues with the bucket hay bale spear. Have to keep checking on the binder tension to make sure it stays tight, chain stretching possibly. My biggest concern was the D ring. I was afraid it would spread out and open up, but so far it's held up. Hopefully it was welded together before it was mounted on the frame. The bucket hay spear is heavy duty and it has been really nice not having to remove the bucket from the tractor.
