I really like the way these boots look and they are very comfortable, even on my feet all day. My only complaint is that by the end of the winter (admittedly, after some very regular and rough use) the toes and inside of the heels had peeled off. The boots were still passable with some black polish, though. That said, I've purchased a second pair for next fall/winter (:

I tried on the color "Brindle" in the Lucky store and took a picture of the box to make sure I had the right color. Then I ordered the same color and style on this website, but this boot is much darker. The Basel Boot in Brindle sold at the Lucky store is a very light beige not a brown. If you look on the Lucky website also you can see that the color shown here is not at all like the Brindle sold by the real Lucky. I am wondering if these are not really lucky brand boots because the color is completely wrong. I am going to return them.

Beautiful color! I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this color but have to say I'm extremely happy. I receive multiple compliments when I wear them. Typical of taupe they pick up what ever color you are wearing. Looks really nice with brown, gray, black or blue. I love the texture of the boot. This is my 3rd pair of Lucky - Basel boots.

I love these boots! They are exactly what I was looking for a in a flat brown bootie - the color I got said toffee, but it's a beautiful cognac color. I got a size 9 and when I first put them on, I thought they were a tiny bit snug. But after only one day of wearing them, they have stretched just enough and are so comfortable! They've also worn a little bit on the toe and heel, but it's almost perfectly distressed and I love it. You can't beat the Amazon price of $77 either. If you're on the fence on these, go for it!

I love both the fit and the look of these boots. I have a narrowish foot, and am always a bit nervous when I buy a pair of shoes thst I've only seen pictures of. I bought my regular size, crossed my fingers, and I can say upon trying them on for the first timr that they fit like they were made for my foot. Honestly, I have tennis shoes that are not as comfortable as these. They are a great buy, and if I could afford it, I would not hesitate to purchase in every single color!
