I buy Dentiva on a regular basis. It keeps my mouth moist and feeling fresh. I keep one in my mouth especially when I'm walking and/or Jazzercising. Another bonus, I don't crave food when I've got Dentiva in my mouth.

All of the sprays and gels I've tried are garbage, and last only an hour at most. This product is the best of the losenge/drop type and unlike any other because it is made of a soft gummy bear like stuff. All others are other a hard losenge like cough drops (chocking hazard), or are chalky (see my review for Xylimelts).

Positives:
+ They last for at least 6-8 hours. There is always some left when I wake up.
+ Taking a drink of water will not disloge them or cause them to dissolve noticibly. I don't recommend eating with them in. I take them out and put them back.
+ Takes 10+ minuets for them to stick good. Once they are stuck they stay stuck. The longer they're in, the more they mold to the shape of your teeth/gums.
+ Good flavor and not too strong. I use the mild mint and it stimulates salivary glands like it should.

Negative:

- THE PRICE! Even when buying the 6-pack, it works out to be 46 cents/drop (after adding tax & $5 shipping). Using the recommended 2 at a time, that's almost $1 night. It can't possibly cost that much to make and market this stuff, especially when they are basically just gummy bears with Xylitol in them. When I'm just laying down for a couple of hours, I use the Xylimelts instead. You can get 100 of those for $20. They work just fine for 3-4 hours.

This is the most effective product for dry mouth I have found and I have tried them all. It is very long lasting and has great taste, I highly recommend this product and hope they never stop making them.

Love it! Best breath freshener ever! I can eat onions, garlic, chinese or mexican food, not brush my teeth, any or all of that -- and after having the small blue Denotive lozenge under my tongue for a minimum of 5 solid minutes, my breath smells fresh and clean!

I tend to leave a lozenge under my tongue until it dissolves, usually takes up to 2 hours.
Great to know that whoever I talk to I don't have to feel self-conscious!

Have even left it under my tongue overnight, but it eventually turns into a gummy mess, and then I have a sort of sour stomach feeling as a reaction from the oils for so long.

This is a good product for dry mouth. It lasts longer than a mint and stimulates the flow of saliva.
