This stand is PERFECT for holding my iPad Pro at the optimal height and distance. I compared several options to find the stand that would work with my chair/table combination and offer the flexibility I need. This one's a perfect fit! I'm very happy with this tablet stand. It's quite sturdy... much more so than the gooseneck stand it replaces, without the bounce. I'm hoping to find add on parts for it so I can mount a second tablet instead of a laptop. One improvement I could suggest after using the stand for a short time, is an additional articulation on the arms near the base.
Very versatile, I can adjust this to my needs, rather than vice versa

For the sake of my body, I need to be able to work with my laptop in very different situations, seated and prone, with the laptop at different heights. This is the only affordable stand I've found that has such a wide range of positions and versatility - the legs can span the base of my floor-seat, or go under the futon, and the height adjustment has a wide range (and infinite precision). It's easy to move from place to place, easy to adjust to the specific situation, and holds my laptop and tablet easily and with assurance.
Bonus, my package came with both arms (the vendor, Mycuteduck, specifically did that, for which I am very grateful), so I can use my tablet as a second display, showing my email inbox or TuneIn Radio, or whatever auxiliary thing I want.
I've tried another, similar thing that clamps onto a desk or other horizontal surface. While that works some, I wind up having to adjust myself to it, rather than adjusting it to me, and I can't move it around the house easily. It's good, this is great.
Whole hearted five start.

Not that easy to follow the instructions (cryptic at best), but ... this is amazing. The best portable laptop stand period. I bought the unit with both laptop and tablet holders. Works best on laptop 13 and I am very impressed with the sliding arm. Can I order a second sliding arm for the laptop?
