Exactly as described, measured with fair accuracy. Hard, with a super smooth surface. I did not worry about slight inaccuracies in size as I am using these for dent removal on brass instruments. The smallest can be used in a cornet leadpipe or the lower half of a French horn leadpipe. You have to use stacked N52 magnets as these have too little mass to push up dents without very strong magnets. My single N52 2"x1" hockey puck (the strongest) could not remove any dents below the top three sizes. However, stacking the magnets allowed these to work despite their tiny size. Not as good as real dent balls, but they do allow you to do some dent work to very small parts without using a torch to disassemble the horn. DO NOT USE NEODYMIUM MAGNETS FOR THIS WORK UNLESS YOU ALREADY ARE PROFICIENT AT DENT WORK USING TRADITIONAL METHODS. NOT ONLY CAN YOU BUTCHER A HORN WITH THESE BUT YOU COULD NEED HOSPITALIZATION. VERY DANGEROUS. With that said, if you want some small balls for your homemade MDRS kit these are well made and worth the price. Recommended with above-listed caveats...
