Sold in conjunction with Norton Ultra Grilzzly Hog's Hair Pad, it didn't occur to me that using that pad would RUIN my chrome-plated fixture. Yet after I realized what was happening and just tried to use this product, well, nothing happened. Waste of money and I wish I hadn't even tried to get rid of the hard water deposit :-/
Not for dark stone!

Well, Not good for dark stone. So did the product remove the white soap and calcium build up on my Slate shower wall? I think so! So why the 2 stars? Because where i applied the cream, it's now lighter in color and looks the same as when it had calcium/soap stains. The way I know it's not soap, is that when wet - the dull color goes away (unlike when it was soap).

So, I will keep trying to scrub it clean, but as of right now, not happy at all.

As the name implies, you must SCRUB, and scrub, and scrub, and scrub to get hard water stains off the grout between travertine tile. It eventually get rid of the stain but it requires lots of elbow grease.
Successfully Removed A Significant Amount of Mineral Scale From Granite Around Sink

I have Giallo Ornamental granite that had a fair amount of mineral deposit build-up around the sink area. I've scraped it with utility blades but while it took care of the more obvious scale, it did nothing to really remove it completely or bring back the shine. We recently removed the standard 4" backsplash and replaced it with marble tile, and I was bound and determined to find a way to recondition the sink area to it's former beauty, even going as far as to get quotes to have it repolished professionally to the tune of $200. After doing a little research, I figured buying a $25 bottle of scrub couldn't hurt before I shelled out hundreds and went to work on the most troublesome spots. I used a microfiber scouring pad (still safe to use on the stone and with the cleaner) and the scale is almost completely gone. There are some areas in the natural pitting of the stone where the calcium build-up is just stubbornly stuck, but the sink area is smooth and shiny again. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to return a stone countertop to its original glory. It did take quite a bit of elbow grease, but I expected it since I'd stupidly let the maintenance go.
Doesn't really remove bad hard water stains. Maybe only works on minor stains?

I have bad hard water stains on the glass doors in my shower and bought this to help get rid of them. It only helped a tiny bit. I had to scrub a lot and it's an almost clay consistancy so when it gets when it takes a lot more effort to wash off. Maybe it works on small hard water stains? But if they're really bad this didn't work.
