This is a very nice key holder
Ken✓ Verified Purchase•February 27, 2017
This is a very nice key holder. It is simple, and made well. Love the blue color. My only gripe is the dimensions given do not seem to be correct. My extended key holder measures 31/2 inches long, but the description says it is 5 inch long. The description for the smaller KeySmart key holder says that model is 3.9 inches. Which is correct? To tell the truth, I didn't purchase the extended key holder based on the dimensions given, and now wish I would have gotten the smaller size, as I mostly have master padlock keys, and one front door lock key. I think the smaller KeySmart would be more compact, and slightly lighter. The Extended size is nice, but in my case, a little shorter would have been nice. Still a great product!
Great Product, except it could have longer screws

Fantastic product. My keys no longer poke holes in my pocket & thigh, and they no longer jingle around when I'm walking.
A couple of critiques though:
(1) The provided screws are too short in my opinion. It can hold only 5 keys total as-is. So I went to my local hardware store to buy longer 1-inch screws (#6-32 if I remember correctly) as well as more nylon washers, and now it can hold 13 keys. And of course it can hold even more keys if you buy even longer screws, but I would generally advise against using screws longer than 1.5 inches.
(2) It is sometimes difficult to reach for the exact key you want. You have to pry at it with your fingernail, and sometimes you will lift the adjacent keys together with it. So I wouldn't recommend this for people who need to access their keys frequently (e.g. janitors) because it will get tedious after a while. This is more for someone who has a lot of locks/assets and must keep their keys with them at all times, but otherwise uses them infrequently.
Not recommended for car keys. First, the key head is probably too thick if you're driving a 1995+ model year. Second, you probably won't have enough clearance to turn the ignition, as the KeySmart might hit the steering column. Third, the additional weight of keys hanging from your ignition will cause accelerated wear of the locking mechanism.

The best key organizer!

I bought this as a gift for my roommate and he absolutely loves it. No more key jingle and keeps his keys tidy. I have the rugged version which is what I would recommend to get because it just looks better. But this is good if you want something more low key and thin. My only complaint is that installing your keys on it is a bit of a pain and not as easy as you think it should be. But after doing it a few times, it gets easier. It's best to lightly screw one side first then doing the other side. I wish the parts where the screws go in were longer to make it a bit more easier.
Brilliant!

Ignore the negative reviews. I've been using this smart key holder thingy daily for 3 months and I have yet to experience the loosening of keys, a screw post breaking, keys too long, etc. This thing is well thought out and well made. I work with metals and I can tell you that KeySmart was masterful in keeping this strong while minimizing weight. My only regret is limiting myself with the 8 key capacity. Simple set up... stack your keys on the posts and insert the screws.
A few tips:
1) even short keys will not fit end to end, you have to offset them;
2) use the little rubber grommets, they keep the screws tight;
3) know your requirements... I put 7 keys and the loop piece on an 8 key holder.
4) put a ring on the loop piece for your car key. It's too bulky to fit on the screws.
Would I recommend it to a friend? Yes, and you're my friend.

This is one of those wonderful things that you didn't know existed and then immediately can't live without. I'll never carry a normal key ring again.
I saw it on facebook and hunted it down here on amazon and I'm thrilled that I did. It works exactly as I'd hoped. I go weeks without tightening the screws on it, and it's easy to do with my fingers or a coin when they need a little tightening. It's not something I have to think about; it occurs to me automatically when I handle them normally and I can easily do it while walking into the grocery store or to the car.
If you're thinking about getting this, go for it. It's wonderful.
