It does a good job organizing your keys... the first thing you will notice is that your pocket is more organized... the only down side is that the surface is smooth and the extra weight sometimes the keys will slip out of your hand... I would recommend that the surface be roughened up to prevent slippage from your hand... there is a learning curve in the beginning as I was used to being able to get to a key with one hane... with this holder it is possible but you will have to get a feel for it... overall I would purchase again

I loved it at first. But the one side did not stay locked and my keys fell off. I tried it again and the keys fell off again. I have a friend that had two and loves them. Maybe I just got a lemon. I love the idea and think if it works it is awesome.
Skeptical at first, until i purchased one. Now I want more.

At first I was skeptical about the KeySmart key holder, and hesitated for quite some time. Then it became available as a deal of the day for $13.99 and I thought I'd give it a try. I am glad I did.
I was able to get 5 keys neatly inserted with the appropriate spacers and could not be more pleased. The small compact size now does not leave a bulge in my pocket. And I no longer have to hear keys rattling while driving.
I cannot recommend this item more. I will be purchasing additional KeySmart key holders in the future.

A little expensive for what it is/does, but it's better than a keyring

Nice key holder to solve that problem of "Ow, my keys keep jabbing me in the leg." It does a nice job of holding keys securely and compactly.
Pros:
- Expandable from 2 to 8 keys
- Includes lots of spacers and also some screw-in extenders to make change the base model from 2-4 keys up to 5 to 8 keys.
Cons:
- There are no instructions provided. You have to go online to find them and even then they are extremely sparse and not very clear. Basically, the idea is you need to have an even number of keys and/or spacers (or the lanyard holder) on both sides in order for the thing to screw back together again. And the stacked keys and spacers must be flush with the top of the pivots.
- You cannot use any plastic-coated keys inside the unit, as they will be waaaay too wide to fit. Also, there are some keys with plastic or rubber inlays, such as one of our Kwikset keys, which doesn't fit...I had to switch to a spare one we'd had cut at the hardware store.
- For the price paid, it would've been nice to have the expanders and the spacers in something other than a plain tear-open plastic bag.

Lasted 10 days. Very disappointed.

I loved this product for about ten days. I went to add an one more key today that I had space for and when I took it apart I noticed all of the barrels that the posts screw into were split. I am feeling lucky that I didn't loose my keys. Just for grins with no keys on it I screwed it all together using my fingernail and it snapped in two pieces! I wish this would have worked I was very cautious about over tightening. I feel like I just threw away the purchase price of this. Until some higher quality materials or something is done I do not recommend this product. 0 stars should be available.
